This filling equipment is specially designed for producing packaged drinking water such as mineral water, purified water and spring water in 2L–10L large PET bottles (square bottles, round bottles and bottles with integrated handles included). It is available in integrated bottle rinsing-filling-capping monoblock or combined filling-capping two-in-one structure (selected according to bottle height). The whole machine is constructed of stainless steel and equipped with automatic PLC control system.
It features stable filling performance, reliable anti-drip design and steady large-bottle conveying, with an hourly output ranging from 600 to 6,000 bottles per hour. The machine can work independently or be connected with bottle blowing, labeling and packaging equipment to form a fully automated production line. We also deliver full-plant turnkey solutions covering water treatment all the way to palletizing, to meet the rapidly growing market demand for large-size packaged water for household consumption, catering services and office use.
The machine is compatible with standard large drinking water bottles of 2L, 3L, 5L, 8L and 10L. It is widely deployed in small and medium-sized large-bottle water plants, drinking water distribution enterprises, supporting filling stations for community direct drinking water systems, supermarket household-packaged water production lines and customized bottled water projects for corporations.

The large bottle water filling line adopts an integrated layout covering the entire workflow from container handling to finished product delivery with seamless connection between every process segment. Optimized for the structural characteristics of large bottles, it guarantees high-efficiency and smooth production operation. The core process steps are specified below:
1. Automatic Bottle Feeding System
A dedicated bottle unscrambler arranges empty bottles neatly, and anti-slip conveyor belts accurately transport bottles to the rinsing station. The conveying speed is adjustable and synchronized with the filling speed to eliminate bottle jamming, missing bottles and bottle tipping, improving feeding efficiency. A bottle positioning device ensures accurate entry of empty bottles into the rinsing station.
2. Bottle Rinsing & Sanitizing Section
Multi-station high-pressure flushing is adopted to thoroughly clean the inner wall, bottle neck and outer surface of large bottles. High-pressure sterile water first washes away internal impurities and external stains, followed by soaking and disinfection with ozonated water. A final rinse with sterile water removes residual disinfectant, rendering containers sterile and residue-free to satisfy hygiene requirements for long-term storage of large-bottle water.
3. Precision Filling Section
Sanitized empty bottles are conveyed to the filling station. Filling valves execute fixed-volume automatic filling according to preset parameters, with real-time liquid level monitoring to guarantee consistent fill volume for every bottle. Upon filling completion, bottles are automatically transferred to the capping station to prevent liquid overflow and secondary contamination. The filling sequence is optimized to strike a perfect balance between high operating speed and precise volume control for large-bottle production.
4. Capping & Sealing Section
An automatic cap sorting and feeding system works with high-precision capping machines, supporting two sealing types dedicated to large bottles: screw-on metal caps and press-on plastic caps. The capping torque is finely adjustable to achieve tight, leak-proof sealing without bottle deformation or neck damage caused by excessive tightening, effectively extending shelf life and improving sealing reliability. A capping inspection unit automatically detects and rejects uncapped or poorly sealed products.
5. Visual Inspection & Labeling Section
After filling and sealing, a dedicated light inspection machine automatically checks for foreign matter, sediment and liquid leakage inside bottles, with defective products sorted out automatically. Qualified products proceed to the labeling machine for precise, firm and neat label application to boost brand recognition. Inkjet date coding can be added upon customer request to print production batch numbers and shelf life information.
6. Finished Product Discharge & Palletizing
Labeled finished bottles are delivered to the outlet via anti-slip conveyors. Paired with an automatic palletizer, the line realizes automated stacking and bundling for easier warehousing and transportation, cutting labor costs for manual palletizing and raising overall productivity. A buffer zone for finished goods is equipped to avoid product accumulation and collision damage.
